Father dies in a car accident hours before son’s wedding in Siddipet-Telangana Today

Siddipeta: A man died in a road accident just hours before his son’s wedding at Venkatraopet village in Thoguta Mandal in the wee hours of Saturday.

The wedding of Mohammad Nizamuddin, a resident of Manthur in Raipole mandal, was scheduled to take place on Saturday.

As part of the marriage rituals, Nizamuddin’s father Mohammad Kasim (73) along with his wife, elder son and grandson were heading towards Manthur from Pragnapur, the bride’s residence, when the driver lost control as a boar came on the road.

The car hit a roadside tree. While Kasim died on the spot, three other family members sitting in the car sustained serious injuries. The marriage was postponed.
