Poldark star Eleanor Tomlinson is pregnant with her first child.

The actress announced the happy news on Instagram on Sunday, sharing a photo of a sweet babygro with “Baby Owen” written on the front.

She burst out, “I can’t wait to meet you, baby.”

The 32-year-old tied the knot with her rugby player boyfriend Will Owen in a fairytale wedding at Euridge Manor in the Cotswolds in 2022.

She wrote on Instagram: “When Miss becomes Miss . I love you. The best weekend of our lives. Our biggest thanks go to all our family and friends and of course to you, @pronovias, @euridge_ and @debeersofficial.”

The bride wore a stunning traditional off-the-shoulder Provonias gown and Christian Louboutin heels as she posed on the grounds of the stunning estate.

Eleanor went public with Will on social media in February 2021.

She first sparked engagement rumors in November 2021, when she went to a supermarket in London with a diamond ring on her finger.

Sources at the time of the engagement claimed the Poldark star was “totally smitten” with her beau, after taking her time to jump into a new relationship following her 2018 split from Harry Richardson.

Eleanor first hinted that there was a new man in her life when she shared a loved-up photo of Will on social media in February 2021.

A source told The Sun: “The couple have been seeing each other for several months and are absolutely smitten.

“I get along very well with his family and they decided to spend their quarantine time with them.

Until June 2017, she dated Aidan’s stunt double, Ben Atkinson (25), and then began an affair with Australian actor Harry Richardson (27), who played Drake Carne in the series.

Will plays for Clifton Rugby but has also played for Coventry Rugby, Leicester Tigers, Doncaster Knights and Nottingham Rugby Club.

In a new interview with The Teleraph about Poldark, Eleanor admitted: “My life has changed a lot, both professionally and personally.”

“Suddenly, when you become part of something that is hugely successful, people treat you differently: they start coming to you for answers. The actors on set started asking me things as if I knew it, even though I was only 22, and they tried to get back on their feet.”

He is currently performing in Matthew López’s Reverberation at the Bristol Old Vic, which will run for a month from October 2 to November 2

Eleanor starred in five series of Poldark, but later appeared in shows such as One Day at a Time, Netflix’s The War of the Worlds, the 2018 biopic Colette and the steamy Channel 4 drama The Couple Next Door.

He is currently performing in Matthew López’s Reverberation at the Bristol Old Vic, which will run for a month from 2 October to 2 November.

Her next screen role is in the highly anticipated remake of The Forsyte Saga for PBS, written by Poldark writer Debbie Horsfield.

“You’re always trying to find the next role that breaks the mold that people see you in,” she told The Telegraph this week. “And yes, if you’ve done something like Poldark for a long time, it can be difficult to prove that you can do something different.”
