Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi allegedly tried this in their marriage

Remember earlier this year when insiders claimed that Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi were going through a serious crisis in their marriage? Well, forget all that, because apparently their marriage took a 180 degree turn after working together, according to inside sources.

Both insiders and sources recently told InTouch Weekly that the couple underwent hypnosis, which allegedly “worked wonders” on their marriage.

“Ellen has already undergone hypnosis and now Portia is also addicted to it. They are working together and it has done wonders for their mental and physical health,” the source said. “Entering a soothing, semi-conscious state is something they look forward to, like a nice nap on vacation.”

They added: “It reminds them why they fell in love and provides a fresh start by helping them deal with painful pasts, like Ellen’s cancellation…. They barely argue anymore, and Ellen is happier than she has been in a long time. . She can definitely go back to stand-up and know that she will have Portia behind her back.”

For those who don’t know, DeGeneres and de Rossi started dating in 2004. Four years later, they married in August 2008 at their home in Beverly Hills.

Earlier this year, insiders told InTouch Weekly that all was allegedly not well at home.

“Ellen’s constant stay at home was taking a toll on their marriage. Portia doesn’t work much either. They always argue with each other and, to be honest, they get on each other’s nerves,” they told the portal. “Now Portia probably regrets not doing it. She doesn’t have her own place. Every time he turns around, he sees Ellen… Ellen has lost so much in recent years – it would be terrible if she lost Portia too.
