Tupac Shakur: Did Diddy have a hand in Tupac’s murder? Crime scene investigators speak out

Sean Combs (Diddy) and Tupac Shakur

Sheryl McColluma crime scene investigator who worked on the 1996 Tupac Shakur murder case suggested that Sean “DiddyCombs can be linked to the rapper’s death and an earlier shooting in 1994. McCollum shared her thoughts during an interview with NewsNation, pointing out Combs’ presence at key moments in Shakur’s violent history.
McCollum was referring to a 1994 incident when Shakur was shot five times during a robbery at New York’s Quad Studios. At the same time, Combs was in the building with about 40 people who were unharmed.
“For me, this whole thing started in 1994 when Tupac was first shot,” McCollum said. “You don’t have to shoot someone five times to take their jewelry and money.” She added that it seemed suspicious that Combs and his group remained untouched during the incident, saying, “How does it make sense to anyone that one person would be robbed and not the other 40?” Who would have more money and jewelry? Forty.”
Shakur himself suspected foul play, openly accusing Combs, along with The Notorious B.I.G. and Bad Boy Records, of involvement in Shooting in 1994. In 1995, in an interview with Vibe magazine, he recalled the strange reaction of those present when he entered the studio bleeding from his wounds: “Nobody approached me. I noticed that no one was looking at me.”
Two years later, in 1996, Shakur was shot and killed in a drive-by shooting after leaving a boxing match in Las Vegas. McCollum pointed to similarities between the two attacks, noting that in both cases Shakur was “trapped” – first in an elevator, then in a car – and had no way to escape. She also noted a lack of video footage from both crime scenes, suggesting that someone close to Shakur may have had prior knowledge of his location, according to Page Six.
Although Combs and Biggie Smalls have denied involvement in Shakur’s murder, the theory has resurfaced as Shakur’s family considers filing a wrongful death lawsuit against Combs. This came after Duane “Keefe D” Davis, now charged with Shakur’s murder, suggested in a 2009 interview that Combs had placed a $1 million bounty on the rapper’s life.
Combs was arrested on September 16 at a Manhattan hotel and charged with sex trafficking and racketeering. If convicted, he could face life in prison. Currently being held without bail on $50 million bail, Combs has not yet set a trial date in the federal case.
