In a related news, iOS 18.1 may have been delayed a little. Apple is poised to release iOS 18.1, featuring the highly anticipated Apple Intelligence suite, on October 28, according to Gurman. The launch, reported in Gurman’s Power On newsletter, comes slightly later than initially expected as Apple fine-tunes the rollout.
The delay allows Apple to address potential bugs and ensure its AI cloud servers can handle the influx of traffic from millions of users. This cautious approach underscores the importance of Apple Intelligence to the company’s strategy.
