It was always obvious that Robyn Brown was Kody’s number one

It was always obvious that Robyn Brown was Kody’s number one

It was clear to the viewers Sister Wives that Robyn Brown was always Kody Brown’s number one. This was already evident in the first season, when Kody spent weekends at Robyn’s house, leaving behind his other wives and children. So why was Kody so surprised when his wives began to feel neglected?

Robyn Brown stole Kody’s heart in a way his other wives didn’t

Robyn and Kody Brown’s relationship was portrayed as more romantic than his relationships with Meri, Janelle, and Christine Brown. TLC cameras captured their intense romance, contrasting it with the platitudes he exchanged with his three other wives.

For example, he briefly kissed or hugged Meri, Janelle, and Christine Brown. But Robyn got long, lingering looks, hugs and kisses before the wedding. This should raise a red flag with his wives.

However, it was not until much later that it was revealed how Kody’s affection for Robyn at the beginning of her relationship with the Brown family influenced his three other wives. Unfortunately, Kody wasn’t mature enough to tell his other wives that he had met the true love of his life and kept it in suspense for years.

Christine Brown criticized Kody’s actions in the first season

From the beginning wife’s sisters In the first season, Christine Brown knew that she wouldn’t always be number one in Kody Brown’s heart. She saw his affection for Robyn Brown and felt the distance in her marriage.

In a confessional, she said Kody’s courtship of Robyn took a toll on their family. Christine said: “He lives far away. He lives about five hours away. So I always told him that there were several times when I thought, “You really can’t go.” You can’t leave me. And you can’t leave your family. Here you are replacing your family with Robyn and her children.’”

Kody and Robyn have denied this accusation. She believed that she and Kody needed time to build a relationship and trust with their children from their first marriage.

However, many viewers saw Robyn as a homewrecker, especially when she said she wanted experience with her sister and wife, but kept Kody at home as much as possible. Eventually, he spent less and less time with Meri, Janelle, Christine, and his children, and more time with Robyn and their family.

Robyn and Kody have become their own nuclear family. Although he insisted that he still wanted to lead a pluralistic lifestyle, it was obvious that he had changed his mind.

Sister Wives fans are deeply wondering about Kody and Robyn’s relationship

Sister Wives fans have had deep thoughts about Robyn Brown as Koda’s number one pick since the beginning of the series. They never once believed that she would fit seamlessly into the family, given the way Kody acted around her, and they said as much in a Reddit thread.

“Robyn continued to call Kody when he came home from going to the hospital for Truley’s delivery to offer him a snack or something. Already in the first season she showed her true face. B****, you know that hospitals have canteens or at least vending machines, right? Or were you confused?” wrote one Redditor.

A second fan wrote: “Christine expressed legitimate concerns. Pointing to the honeymoon, the money and the time spent, she was called hormonal, mean, rude and in many other ways. And not just because of Kody. Imagine being postpartum, completely overwhelmed and so excited to be the only one speaking out.”

A third viewer guessed: “I think OG3 always knew. And the older kids in OG13 figured it out pretty damn quick.”

Currently, Kody and Robyn Brown are a monogamous couple. Since then, he is no longer married to Meri, Janelle or Christine Brown.

Sister Wives airs Sundays at 10 p.m. ET on TLC.
