The creators of “BioShock” – 2K Cloud Chamber – are “getting going” on their next game.

The beloved FPS series has not seen a new installment since 2013’s Bioshock Infinite. Now, 2K Cloud Chamber – a studio based in Montreal, Canada – has announced that it is looking for more talented developers to work on the upcoming fourth title in the series.

In a LinkedIn post, the company’s senior cinematic designer Jeff Spoonhower wrote, “The BioShock team at 2K Cloud Chamber is heating up! We have a number of open positions across a variety of disciplines, including art, animation, engineering, design, narrative, and production. We’re working on some seriously amazing projects, and our studio is remote-friendly.”

The game was first announced in December 2019, with the publisher revealing that the fourth installment in the “BioShock” series would be in development “over the next several years.”

Previously, an old job advert at Cloud Chambers stated that the company was looking for new employees to “help us bring a fantastic new world to life.”

The ad concluded: “Together, we will set the stage for a stunning narrative and systems-based experience.”

In addition to the new recruits, Cloud Chamber’s global studio head Kelley Gilmore also announced that the development team includes industry veterans who have worked on games such as “Call of Duty,” “Battlefield” and “Assassin’s Creed.”
