Taylor Sheridan’s ‘Landman’ Premieres in November, First Photos

Paramount+ has set a premiere date for the series Landmannext series to come Yellow stone creator Taylor Sheridan, starring Billy Bob Thornton, has released the first official photo featuring Thornton and his co-stars Ali Larter, Jon Hamm, Demi Moore, Michael Pena, Jacob Lofland, James Jordan and Mark Collie…

Landman will be set in Texas and will follow the booming oil industry, with Thornton playing Tommy Norris, a crisis manager for an oil company. The series will premiere in two episodes on November 17, with a new episode released weekly thereafter. The current synopsis reads:

Set in the proverbial boomtowns of West Texas, this is a modern-day tale of fortune-seeking in the world of oil rigs. Based on the acclaimed 11-part podcast Boomtown, the series is a floor-to-floor story of the hoodlums and wild billionaires fueling a boom so big it’s changing our climate, our economy, and our geopolitics.

Landman the premiere will take place a week after the last season of the series Sheridan Yellow stone begins, giving viewers a double dose of Sheridan’s world every week.

Landman stars Billy Bob Thornton (Armageddon), Ali Larter (Heroes), Michelle Randolph (1923), Jakub Lofland (Mud), Kayla Wallace (When the heart calls), James Jordan (Yellow stone), Mark Collie (Nashville), Paulina Chavez (Ashley Garcia’s Expanding Universe), Demi Moore (Conflict: Capote vs. Swans), Jon Hamm (Crazy people), Andy Garcia (Pain scammers) and Michael Peña (Narcos: Mexico).

Landman will premiere on November 17, 2024.
