WOMEX 2024 Announces Additional Artists to Perform at Annual Show

WOMEX 2024 organisers have announced the full line-up of artists selected by the Showcases Jury, Horizons Stage (regional stage) and Club Summit. The 2024 edition of the influential world music conference WOMEX will take place in Manchester, UK from 23rd to 27th October 2024.

The upcoming 30th edition of the WOMEX Festival will feature 47 artists representing 37 countries, not counting the offWOMEX line-up, opening artists and WOMEX award winners, who will be announced in the coming weeks.

The second group of WOMEX 24 artists selected by the Jury are:

  • Queralt Lahoz (Spain)
  • Rasha Nahas (Palestine / Germany)
  • Sahra Halgan (France)
  • Sarab (Syria / France)
  • Stogie T (South Africa)

The Official Program is created from a pool of proposals that are received from all over the world during an open call for submissions, open to any artist residing in any country in the world. In total, over 1,900 conference, screening and film proposals were received. The Official Program is jointly curated by an annually changing independent and international WOMEX jury.
