The critically acclaimed workplace thriller Severance will return to Apple TV+ early next year, according to a trailer released today.

Apple said the 10-episode season will premiere on Friday, January 17, with subsequent episodes airing every Friday until March 21.

The science fiction series revolves around the mysterious company Lumon Industries, whose employees are unable to recall any memories of their personal lives while at work. Similarly, the employees are unable to remember anything from the workplace when they are away from the office. The series was created by Dan Erickson and the cast includes Adam Scott, Britt Lower, Tramell Tillman, Zach Cherry, Christopher Walken and others.

Severance’s first season ended in April 2022, leaving fans waiting about 33 months for the second season, which was delayed by seven months last year due to the Writers Guild of America strike.

Severance is one of the most popular shows on Apple TV+. In the U.S., the streaming service costs $9.99 per month or $99 per year after a price hike last October, and is included in all Apple One subscription plans.
