Glen Powell revealed that fans should expect a cameo appearance by his parents in his new film Whirlwinds.

The Anyone But You star joins an impressive cast that includes Daisy Edgar Jones, Anthony Ramos, Kiernan Shipka, Daryl McCormack AND Sasha Lane in the new disaster movie, which is a sequel to the 1996 film Twister.

However, in a TikTok video posted to the film’s official TikTok, Glen revealed that one day on set he had two even more “special” companions – his parents.

The adorable clip takes us behind the scenes of a photo shoot with the boy’s parents – from the jokes in the make-up chair, through the wardrobe, to the journey to the photo shoot location.

“It’s a big rodeo scene, but what makes it even more special is that my parents will be there to support me,” Glen enthused.

“Just being able to be with Glen and share all of this is so much fun,” his dad added later in the clip.

However, Glenn’s parents are not the only people he has managed to involve in promoting his latest project.

Another clip posted on the TikTok page Twisters, this time from the film’s premiere, shows Glen posing for photos with Tom Cruisewith whom he previously shared the screen in Best Pistol: Maverick.

Glen has previously revealed that his parents have appeared in several of his other films.

“I think they’re a little too comfortable right now,” he joked to Jimmy Fallon. “They’ve made a cameo in pretty much every movie I’ve ever been in.

“So at first they were really excited that I was going to get new roles and stuff. And now they’re just worried about what they’re going to do in the movie. It’s like he’s a nepo baby — they’re more like a nepo mommy and a nepo daddy.”

Twitter is released in UK cinemas on Friday 19th July.
