Aaron Hernandez Movie Release Date Set at FX – GoldDerby

“American Sports Story: Aaron Hernandez” finally has a premiere date. The 10-episode limited series will debut Tuesday, September 17 at 10 p.m. on FX with two episodes, the network announced Wednesday during the Television Critics Association summer press tour. Subsequent episodes will air weekly. All episodes will stream the following day on Hulu.

“American Sports Story” is the latest spin-off Ryan MurphyEmmy Award-winning anthology “American Story.” Based on the podcast “Gladiator: Aaron Hernandez and Football Inc.” from The Boston Globe and Wondery, the inaugural season follows the life of the former New England Patriots quarterback, who committed suicide in 2017 while in prison after being convicted of murder.

Josh Andres Riverawho was most recently seen in “The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songs and Serpents,” plays the role of Hernandez. Patrick Schwarzenegger art Tim Tebow AND Norbert Leo Butz art Bill BelichickThe cast also includes: Jaylen Barron, Lindsay Mendez, Ean Castellanos, Tammy Blanchard, Tony Yasbeck, Tomasz Sadoski AND Jake Cannavale.

Murphy serves as executive producer alongside Stuart Zicherman, Nina Jacobson, Brad Simpson, Alexis Martin Woodall, Eric Kovtun, Scott Robertson, Charles Franklin, Hernan Lopez, Marshall Left, Linda Puzzuti Henry AND Ira Napoliello.

“American Sports Story” was first announced in August 2021, alongside another spin-off, “American Love Story,” which has yet to be produced.
