After its opening weekend, it entered the top ten at the global box office at No. 9 with a total worldwide gross of $5.04 million. Regional highlights also included the United Kingdom and Ireland with a gross of $606,000 and No. 5 at the box office; Germany with a gross of $332,000 and No. 3 at the box office; Mexico with a gross of $326,000 and No. 5 at the weekend box office; and Australia with a gross of $178,000 and No. 6 at the box office. The film charmed audiences, receiving a stellar audience rating of 99% on Rotten Tomatoes.
