Henry Schein, the world’s largest provider of healthcare solutions to dental and medical practices, celebrated the grand opening of its new 811,000-square-foot Southwestern Distribution Center in Fort Worth, Texas. The facility is the largest in the company’s global network and is designed to enhance supply chain efficiency and customer service. Approximately 300 people attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony, including company leaders, supplier partners and elected officials. The center is 30 percent larger than the next largest Henry Schein distribution location and houses 255 employees. The new facility replaces a 242,000-square-foot center in Grapevine, Texas, with more than 95 percent of Grapevine’s employees relocating. The expansion reflects Henry Schein’s commitment to innovation, reliability and meeting customer needs.

(Nasdaq HSIC), the world’s largest provider of healthcare solutions to dental and medical practices, Southwestern’s 811,000-square-foot distribution center recently opened in Fort Worth, Texasthe largest single building in the Company’s global network.

Approximately 300 Schein team members, supplier partners, customers, company officials and leaders attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark this important milestone that underscores Henry Schein’s commitment to improving supply chain efficiency and customer service.

The new distribution center, located at 3701 Litsey Road in the AllianceTexas community, is 30 percent larger than the next largest Henry Schein distribution center and houses 255 Team Schein members. The facility provides Team Schein with an even more efficient workspace to provide healthcare workers with the products they need to provide the best quality patient care.

Henry Schein has been serving customers in the Southwest region for over 20 years through Grapevine, Texasdistribution center. The company opened the doors to its 242,000-square-foot Vine in 1998 with 66 Team Schein members. During that time, the company experienced tremendous growth, which led to the decision to find a larger space. More than 95 percent of Henry Schein Vine the team moved to a new facility in Fort Worth.
