GHOST and Veeps to Reveal Rite Here Rite Now via Global Online Premiere

Ghost, the Grammy Award-winning chart-topping arena star known for his loyal fan base and theatrical rock performances, releases his feature film debut Rite Here Rite Now to theaters worldwide after reaching record-breaking numbers in the top 10 at the global box office, grossing more than $5 million over its four-day extended theatrical run.

Streaming platform Veeps, which also debuted as a studio on the film, has announced an exclusive global online premiere of Rite Here Rite Now on Saturday, July 20. In addition to transporting viewers from their couches to the stage — and backstage — of the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, the Veeps premiere will be a sideshow to this summer’s rock ‘n’ roll cinematic event: the Rite Here Rite Now stream will feature an exclusive conversation with Ghost mastermind Tobias Forge, co-director Alex Ross Perry, and live-action director Jim Parsons, recorded during the film’s London premiere, and will be available to all fans worldwide.

Tickets cost $19.99 and are available now here.

Rite Here Rite Now premiered in theaters worldwide from June 20-23, with additional screenings added due to insatiable fan demand. This unforgettable, immersive event combines storytelling with live performances from the band’s sold-out two-night Re-Imperatour USA 2023 finale at the iconic Kia Forum in Los Angeles. Fans who purchase tickets to the broadcast will have an exclusive opportunity to gain access to Ghost merchandise.

A fantastic mix of live performances and intercut sequences that immerses viewers in the colorful melodrama of Ghost’s vaunted live rituals, the film picks up storylines from the band’s long-running Chapters webisode series. It captures vibrant renditions of fan favorites from all five Ghost albums, as well as the RIAA platinum-selling Mary On A Cross, interspersed with the silver screen debuts of familiar faces—all interacting backstage with Papa Emeritus IV Ghost as his future and fate rest in the hands of the Ministry.
Whether it’s a dedicated student reliving treasured memories of a live Ghost performance or a curious newcomer, Rite Here Rite Now transports viewers to the heart of the performance. The film captures the essence of living in the moment, with a hint of uncertainty, leaving the audience completely enthralled and captivated by this bombastic yet intimate cinematic portrayal of Ghost.

During its theatrical run, distributed by Trafalgar (Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour and Beyoncé’s Renaissance), Rite Here Rite Now entered the top ten at the North American box office with a total gross of $2.65 million, making it the highest-grossing hard rock event in North American history. After its opening weekend, it entered the top ten at the global box office at #9 with a total worldwide gross of $5.04 million. Regional highlights also included the United Kingdom and Ireland with a gross of $606,000 and #5 at the box office; Germany with a gross of $332,000 and #3 at the box office; Mexico with a gross of $326,000 and #5 at the weekend; and Australia with a gross of $178,000 and #6 at the box office. The film charmed audiences, receiving a perfect 99% audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
