Solar storm: Destructive waves heading towards Earth in new photos

Pakistan’s Space and Upper Atmosphere Commission (SUPARCO) has issued a warning of an upcoming solar storm.

According to numerous reports, geomagnetic storms are currently occurring around the Earth, which is caused by the strong matter and energy emitted by the central star of the Solar System.

Power grids, space stations and satellites are at risk from the ongoing heat.

The Institute of Space Technology in Islamabad also released exclusive images showing the crazy dance that is going on on the surface of the Sun.

A SUPARCO spokesman said: “Three coronal mass ejections (CMEs) are now on their way to Earth. The first two M-class solar flares were launched on August 7.”

“The initial CMEs were relatively small, but the third X1.3-class solar flare is much more powerful than those. More M-class flares have been shot out from the sun’s surface,” the source added.

It is predicted that within the next three or four days the Earth will be visible in both magnetic and plasma waves.

When activity peaks, the planet could experience multiple storms.

This may result in the disabling of satellites, GPS networks and mobile phones, as well as interruptions in radio signal transmission.
