Girls High School Volleyball: 2024 6A Team Capsules, Projections

The 2024 girls high school volleyball season begins next week for teams in Class 6A and across the state. To prepare fans for the upcoming season, the Deseret News has compiled recaps for each team in 6A. Each school is invited to participate and submit information.

Regional rankings are based on preseason coaches’ predictions.

This year in Class 6A we have four new girls volleyball coaches: Megan Chandler Allred (Syracuse), Alise Bowles (Lehi) and Matthew Moeai (Lone Peak).

Here are the 6A teams and players to watch in the upcoming season.

Region 1

1. Weber’s Warriors

2024 Schedule

Head Coach: Renae Davis (4th year).

Record 2023: 26-6 (first place in Region 1 with a record of 9-1).

RPI Ranking 2023: No. 6 in 6A.

After the 2023 season: They lost to Bingham 3-0 in the 6A quarterfinals.
