Hallmark Channel is introducing five new films to its Summer Nights lineup, premiering a different film every Saturday in August.

Summer Nights, Hallmark Channel’s annual programming event, returns with five all-new, feel-good movies. New movies premiere every Saturday night in August, making the last month of summer extra special and full of Hallmark charm.

Last weekend, Autumn Reeser sat down with Aaron O’Connell for “Junebug,” a story about adjusting to life and how it all plays out. Juniper (Reeser) wanted to be a writer, but as many people know, life sometimes gets in the way of dreams and sends us down a different path. Suddenly, Juniper’s 8-year-old self brings her face to face with her old dreams. This younger Junebug is the push the adult Junebug needs to start writing again and doing what she really loves. With the help of artist Alex (O’Connell), she can finally get back on the path she imagined when she was young.

“My Dreams of You” premieres this Saturday, starring Skyler Samuels and Kapil Talwalkar in a story that defies normal notions of reality. Grace (Samuels) keeps dreaming about a stranger named Michael (Talwalkar). Why this man? And why are her dreams so detailed? Well, it looks like the folks at Dream Central made a bit of a mistake. When Grace meets Michael in person and sees he’s the man of her dreams, she’s horrified to realize he doesn’t know who she is. Apparently, he didn’t have the same dreams.

Wedding fever hits the streets on August 17th in “A Costa Rican Wedding.” Rhiannon Fish and Christopher Russell play enemies together when they both attend their friends’ weddings in the tropical setting of Costa Rica. Things get a little crazy for this maid of honor who has to deal with everything, including her nemesis.

“Lemon Drop Magic” opens August 24. Lyndsy Fonseca plays Lolly, who is given three magical lemon drops by her aunt. (If only we could get some of those for ourselves!) The candy allows her to experience what her life would have been like if she had made different decisions along the way. A lot of people often wonder that. But in this case, Lolly really sees what her life would have been like if she had made different decisions and lived a different life.

And finally, Head Over Heels premieres August 31st, ending the month with Rebecca Dalton and Olivier Renaud. Addison (Dalton) finally lands a big job in New York City at a fancy shoe company. She’s not a big city girl, but she’s determined not to show it. The big city can change a person’s values, but Addison won’t let that happen to her. She’ll show everyone that she can maintain her values, succeed at a big city job, surrounded by all the glitz, and succeed in love. Can she really do all of that?

Summer is heating up on Hallmark Channel. While viewers last month satisfied their Christmas cravings in July, August is shaping up to be a hot time for the network. Grab some lemonade and get ready for some new summer stories.
