Ed Kelce Slams Kanye West Over Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s ‘Lifestyle’ Lyrics

Ed shared an article on Facebook about a song from his album mentioning the names Travis (34) and Taylor Vultures 2 and wrote: “Mental illness in all its glory.”

In the song, Lil Wayne, 41, raps, “I roll Taylor tight at the end like Travis Kelce” — a not-so-subtle reference to the “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” singer and her boyfriend.

Taylor, 34, and the Kansas City Chiefs center have yet to acknowledge Ye’s use of their last names in the song, but it was another moment in a years-long feud between Miss American star and Ye, 46.

Swifties fans were quick to come to Taylor’s defense following the song’s release, with many taking to social media to criticize the “Gold Digger” artist for invoking their queen’s name.

“He’s an idiot trying to get attention,” one person wrote in the comments section of Ed’s Facebook post.

Another user praised Ed’s defense of Taylor in the comments, adding, “Tell them Ed! Protect Taylor and Travis at all costs. They are absolutely amazing together!!”

A third person wrote via X: “Kanye West mentioned Taylor Swift in a song AGAIN??? Man this is pathetic he’s so into her.”

Ye and Taylor’s feud began in 2009 when the “Carnival” rapper interrupted Taylor in the middle of her acceptance speech for Artist of the Year at the MTV Video Music Awards.

“Yo, Taylor, I’m really happy, I’ll let you finish,” Ye told the crowd after ripping the microphone out of Taylor’s hands. “But Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time! Of all time!”

The “Blank Space” singer and Ye seemed to put their differences aside and call a truce after he offered what Taylor described as a “sincere apology” on September 15, 2009. However, it didn’t take long for the two to fall out again. The feud escalated over the years and flared up again when Ye released his track “Famous” in February 2016.

On the track, Ye rapped, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that b*tch famous.” He faced criticism for the lyrics, but claimed the “So High School” singer gave him permission to use her name. Taylor denied the claim, but Kim Kardashianwho was Ye’s husband at the time, released an audio clip of a phone conversation between him and Taylor.
