Highland Heroes 2025 – Nominate Your Caregiver of the Year

Carers provide vital support to many people and their families across the Highlands.

Highland Heroes pays tribute to all the wonderful carers who continue to support those in their care by presenting them with the Carer of the Year Award, recognising the invaluable contribution they make not only to the lives of those they care for, but also to the wider community.

NOMINATE your 2025 Uplands Heroes for at midnight on Sunday, December 15th.

The Carer of the Year will be chosen by someone who, through dedication, kindness and a sensitive approach, consistently provides high quality care and who has made personal sacrifices to meet the needs of others or has played a vital role in our communities by providing support and assistance to those who need it.

The Highland Heroes Carer Award is once again sponsored by Parklands Care Homes.

Once all nominations have been submitted, our judges will select the entries and create a shortlist, and you will be invited to vote for the winners.

All finalists, sponsors and guests will be invited to the awards ceremony on Friday 14th March 2025 at the Macdonald Drumossie Hotel in Inverness where the winners will be announced!

In addition to the awards in the main categories, a special award is also presented that evening.

The Hero of Heroes will be chosen by the judges from among all the winners.
