The actress kicks off the publication’s long-awaited comeback by wearing a series of cozy yet chic fall pieces

Demi Moore and J. Crew team up to deliver a huge dose of nostalgia this fall.

To celebrate the relaunch of the retailer’s iconic catalog, the 61-year-old actress is one of four cover stars for the fall 2024 issue.

As an avid J. Crew fan and collector, Moore feels being featured in the campaign “brings a fresh yet nostalgic energy, embodying the essence of J. Crew’s fusion of urban and coastal aesthetics, multi-generational appeal, and commitment to high-quality classics,” the brand said in an email.

“J.Crew changed the landscape—not just in terms of what it introduced in terms of clothing, but also in terms of access—how we discovered it,” Moore tells PEOPLE exclusively. “The catalog wasn’t considered very chic. Before, you’d think, ‘Oh, my grandma can buy from this, but I can’t.’ And the J.Crew catalog opened up a whole new world—a complete lifestyle.”

To achieve a nostalgic feel that truly reflects the brand’s heritage from the city to the coast, the fall campaign was shot exclusively on film in the Hamptons and New York.

In the stunning photos, Moore dons a series of cozy yet chic ensembles that are sure to inspire your fall wardrobe. One shot shows the star perched on a chair, showing off a bold red sweater, sleek white trousers, and a pair of hiking boots.

While the revamped catalog draws inspiration from J. Crew’s beloved ’90s publications, it also marks a new era for the retailer. Created in partnership with Parisian creative design studio Atelier Franck Durand, the catalog will feature a new roster of photographers for the brand (including Laura Jane Coulson, Dougal Macarthur, Max Fargo and Theo Wenner), as well as emerging models and faces from across generations.
