This Nebraska corn shellers host Colorado Buffaloes in a highly anticipated competitive match this Saturday. This clash will feature a pair of talented playmakers Dylan Raiola AND Sanders-shedeur.

Nebraska players have been full of praise for their rookie so far after an impressive college debut. They’ve talked about what to expect this weekend.

Raiola signed with the Cornhuskers as the top quarterback prospect in the country. He immediately took over the offense and showed why in Week 1.

The freshman threw a pair of touchdown passes and completed more than 70 percent of his attempts to help Nebraska cruise to a comfortable 40-7 season-opening win.

Now the road gets a little more difficult.

Colorado is coming off a win over North Dakota State, where they put up 31 points and 504 yards of offense, most of which came through the air, with Shedeur Sanders totaling 445 yards passing.

Nebraska’s defensemen were asked about preparing for a potential first-round draft pick and whether competing with Dylan Raiola in practice would be helpful.

“You can’t compare Dylan and Shedeur Sanders,” LB Mikai Gbayor said. “Dylan is a different person, in terms of the way he plays and the way he goes out there and attacks… Dylan is a dog and you’ll see that on Saturday.”

Some would dismiss this as a simple comparison of playing styles. After all, Raiola has drawn more comparisons to Patrick Mahomes than anyone in college basketball.

Others, however, may perceive it as a shadow!

Will Sanders take this personally? We’ll see!

Colorado and Nebraska coaches announce the clash between Dylan Raiola and Shedeur Sanders.

Both Deion Sanders and Matt Rhule spoke positively about their opponents following their tight 2023 showdown.

In that game, the Cornhuskers and Buffaloes separated before the first whistle, and college football spectators were treated to Sanders’ signature celebration.

Matt Rhule knows all about Sanders, who tore apart Nebraska’s defense for 393 yards last season in a 36-14 victory, and has been full of praise for the quarterback so far.

Meanwhile, Deion Sanders gets his first look at Dylan Raiola. Here’s what he had to say about facing the youngster.

“The kid made some damn good throws (last week),” coach Prime said. “Some really good plays. … I like what he showed in his first college game.”

There’s a little less drama as Rhule and Sanders prepare for their second years. Judging by these reactions, we should see some fireworks under center when the QBs take the field.
