Jada Pinkett Smith is reportedly not thrilled that Will Smith has rekindled his friendship with the major league star

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith may still have fans wondering if they are separated or together, but there is no doubt that they are family forever. That close bond means that there are often differences over who is Bad Boys: Ride or Die star should be spending time with. It looks like Will has rekindled his friendship with the A-lister with the controversial star.

The 55-year-old actor rekindled his friendship with Johnny Depp in May after they were spotted getting more intimate in the south of France in July, which reportedly didn’t sit well with Jada In touch weekly source. “Will and Johnny have known each other for a long time, have a lot of mutual friends in Hollywood, and recently reconnected in a big way,” the insider revealed. “Johnny has been taking Will out on nights out with the boys and getting him into his rock band.” That may sound like fun, but Depp is just returning to Hollywood after his much-publicized marriage to Amber Heard and subsequent court case.

A second source seems to think that Conversations at the red table host is just “jealous.” They added: “It’s pretty upsetting for Jada because she feels like he’s running away from being single and he’s pointing fingers at her.” The Smiths’ marriage has been complicated for some time now following her shocking revelation in her 2023 memoir, Worthythat she and Will had been separated for seven years.

Today host Hoda Kotb addressed Jada, asking her why she and Will haven’t been honest with their fans by pretending to be married for years. “I think we’re just not ready yet,” Jada explained. “We’re still trying to figure out how to be in a partnership, right?
