Gonzaga, Duke highlight ASU men’s basketball non-conference schedule

Bobby Hurley challenges his team in non-conference play, even though moving to the Big 12 would be a significant upgrade.

Arizona State released its full non-conference schedule today. The 11-game schedule includes seven road games and four at Desert Financial Arena, in addition to a highly anticipated preseason exhibition game against Duke on Oct. 27. TV times and details will be announced later.

The non-conference schedule doesn’t feature as many home games as it normally would, but that’s due to teams opting to participate in multi-team, neutral-site events where players are paid directly through the NIL relationship.

ASU is coming off a 14-18 season, the worst of Hurley’s decade-long career, but there is renewed interest and optimism as ASU has the second-best signing class in the country.
