After almost a decade together and four years of marital bliss, Brittany Cartwright announces the end of her marriage to Jax Taylor. The couple didn’t have the easiest road to marriage. Most say the toxic relationship hurt them both in the process. Last week, news broke that The Valley star had filed papers to dissolve her marriage, claiming she had “irreconcilable differences.” The mother of one wants to pick herself up and move on. Luckily, she has some really great Bravo friends who have her back.

Season 1 of The Valley saw Brittany struggle to find her voice in her relationship. After agreeing to have a second child, she was surprised by Jax’s refusal and felt discouraged about her life plans. Viewers watched as Jax did his best to manipulate his wife by telling her about his drinking, even going so far as to claim that she wasn’t sick but had a hangover in Big Bear. In her confession, Brittany spoke more than once about her lack of love for her husband. The Kentucky native even stated, “I feel like Jax is sucking the life and all the spark out of me. How much more can I take? I’m starting to realize all the little things I’ve had to deal with for all nine years of my life.”

Even though Britt may have revealed that she feels she’s in a very abusive marriage, her friends are making sure they’re there for her during this difficult time. Shortly after filing for divorce, Brittany took to Instagram to let her fans know she’s there. In the sexy post, the mother of one wore a hot pink spaghetti strap dress that showed off her breasts, which Jax helped pick out. With a coy smile on her face, Brittany wrote, “I’m getting my glow back.”

Brittany isn’t looking back as she marches forward. Her longtime friends are making sure to send her positive vibes. Good as Gold singer Scheana Shay wrote, “Shining bright baby” in support of the mother of one. Former Temptation Island star Kady Cannon Crambeer shared her thoughts, writing, “The glow never faded boo.” Even former Vanderpump Rules waitress Dayna Kathan chimed in, “And we LOVE seeing it!!!” Brittany’s co-star and former Miss USA Nia Sanchez chimed in, “Yes!! I love you Queen Britt.”

One of the more surprising supporters came from Kim Zolciak. The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star, who is going through her own marital issues, wrote, “You deserve it!!” while The Bachelor’s Rachel Lindsay wrote, “Keep shining.” Even some of the Valley boys are rallying around Brittany, with Zack Wickham writing, “Stunning? I love you so much.” The show of support was overwhelming, with even some former Bravolebs coming out of hiding to show they’re on team Brittany. Summer House alum Lauren Wirkus added a fire emoji and wrote, “OK.” It’s obvious to everyone that Brittany has never lost her shine, no matter how hard Jax tries to outshine it.

In her first public appearance, Brittany took to her podcast When Reality Hits to share one major motivation for filing for divorce. Britt noted, “It took me many, many years to get to the point where I had the courage to do what was best for me, to get out of a toxic relationship and finally see my worth. It was very difficult, but I am stronger than ever, and my motivation is my son, my cruiser, who deserves a happy and healthy mommy.” Brittany also revealed that she and Jax will continue the podcast, but will be doing their own episodes. While it seems like the two are trying to keep the peace, Brittany has already lashed out at Jax online.

During a September 1 Instagram post about a sex toy ad, Brittany wrote, “POV: In my era of self-love. I’ve always done everything myself, so I’m not stopping now.” The post was one of the most well-planned burnouts, and Brittany doesn’t have to worry about her toy cheating.
