MJF to Daniel Garcia: I’ve tasted your blood and I want more

On September 4, NJPW announced that Yuya Uemura had undergone a medical evaluation and was diagnosed with a torn triceps. The injury would require six months to fully recover. Uemura commented on the news, saying that he would do everything he could to rest and return.

From NJPW:

On August 10 in Sendai, Yuya Uemura injured his shoulder during a match against Yota Tsuji. Although he won the match, Uemura was forced to withdraw from G1 and has been inactive since.

Medical evaluation of the injury revealed a torn tricep. The injury will require six months to fully recover.

Uemura wanted to share the following message with fans regarding his recovery:

“I want to fight so badly now, but I still have a long way to go in my everyday life, let alone in the ring. I want to set all of Japan on fire with professional wrestling and be the strongest there is. It’ll take some time, but I’ll do whatever it takes to heal and get there.”

I’ll do my best to rest and be even hotter when I get back. The Heat Storm will set your heart on fire!’

New Japan Pro-Wrestling joins fans in wishing Uemura all the best and a speedy recovery.
