Survivor announces this season’s castaways, one of whom lives in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WDEF) — Survivor has revealed 18 new castaways who will compete in its 47th season, and one of the contestants is from Nashville.

Sam Phalen is one of 18 participants this season.

Phalen lives in Nashville where he works as a Tennessee Titans reporter for A to Z Sports.

Sam and the other 17 survivors compete for the title of “Sole Survivor” and a cash prize of $1 million.

Participants must overcome a series of unexpected obstacles while creating a new society and adapting to their surroundings.

“Survivor” Season 47 will premiere on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at 8:00 PM ET.
