Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard are building a new Empire Together.

The former co-stars, who played Lucious and Cookie Lyon on the hit FOX series, reunited on Wednesday, September 4, to celebrate their latest collaboration, Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist.

Henson, 53, wore a sparkling white mini dress with long sleeves and a plunging neckline. The sexy look was paired with strappy silver heels. Howard, 55, wore a gray suit over a light blue collared shirt and a brown wig.

The duo is part of an all-star cast that also includes Kevin Hart, Don Cheadle and Samuel L. Jackson.

Premiering Thursday, September 5 on Peacock, the series follows the aftermath of the holdup that followed Muhammad Ali’s historic victory over Jerry Quarry on October 26, 1970.

“When a con artist named Chicken Man (Hart) throws an afterparty to celebrate a fight, inviting some of the richest people in the country to the party, the evening ends with the most brazen criminal heist in Atlanta history,” the synopsis explains.

Chicken Man, suspected of organizing the crime, “is determined to clear his name at all costs, but must convince his old adversary, JD Hudson (Cheadle), one of the first black detectives in the liberalized city police force, who is tasked with bringing the perpetrators to justice,” the synopsis adds.

Henson and Howard recently shared the screen Empirewhich ran for six seasons from 2015 to 2020.

During the performance on Today On Tuesday, September 3, Henson revealed that they hadn’t seen each other since Empire wrapped up until filming begins Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist.

“I haven’t seen Terrence since we left Chicago. It’s great to see him again,” she added.
