Tainted Uttarakhand official removed after court rules ‘PM not king’

The appointment of the IFS officer has created controversy as Rahul is currently under investigation by the CBI for allegedly being involved in illegal felling of trees and construction work in the Jim Corbett National Park.

Uttarakhand Government Senior Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer Rahul was removed as director of Rajaji Tiger Reserve after Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was pulled up by the Supreme Court over his appointment. The appointment of the tainted IFS officer a month ago had created controversy as Rahul faces an ED and CBI probe for his alleged involvement in illegal felling of trees and construction in Jim Corbett National Park.
