Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns Latest Trailer Highlights New Gameplay for Upcoming Character Sector

Warner Bros. Games has released a new Mortal Kombat 1: Reign of Khaos gameplay trailer Sectorone of six new playable characters that will appear Mortal Kombat 1 as part of an expansion. The trailer features an in-depth look at Sector‘S skills and moveset, as well as story elements that give insight into her unique role in the new version Mortal Kombat 1 Universe.

In Liu Kang’s New Era of Fire God, Sector grew up immersed in the Lin Kuei culture – her father was a master armorer and her mother a leading warrior. This extensive knowledge of weapons and powerful fighting skills passed down from her parents make her Sector a combatant like no other. Sensing a kindred spirit, Sub-Zero shared with her his grand vision of the Lin Kuei’s future and chose her as his most trusted lieutenant. Now, Sektor would force the Lin Kuei to evolve, and those who could not change would be eliminated.

Sector deadly moveset is on full display in the new trailer, showing off her advanced weaponry to take down enemies, including a flamethrower, projectile strikes, and rocket boosters for enhanced movement and the ability to hover. The video also shows Animality of the Sectora brutal finishing move that allows her to transform into a rhinoceros to obliterate defeated opponents. Fan favorite Animalities will be available as a free content update for all Mortal Kombat 1 owners in cooperation with Mortal Kombat 1: Reign of Khaos premieres on September 25 (AEST).

Mortal Kombat 1: Reign of Khaos is a new extension for Mortal Kombat 1the latest installment of the acclaimed series Mortal Kombat video game franchise developed by award-winning NetherRealm Studios, which has sold over 4 million copies worldwide to date. The expansion presents the next phase of the genre-defining narrative centered around peace and anarchy, with all-new story mode chapters (available September 25), as well as the addition of Kombat Pack 2 including six playable characters – Cyrax, Sectr, and Noob Saibot (available from September 25) and guest players Ghost Face (Scream concession), T-1000 (Terminator 2: Judgment Day), and Conan the Barbarian (Post-release release date will be announced at a later date).

Mortal Kombat 1: Reign of Khaos is set to release digitally on September 25 at 1:00 AM EST for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store). All Mortal Kombat 1: Reign of Khaos pre-orders will include four new character skins, including Wedding Scorpio, Empress Mileenaand classic Mortal Kombat 3 Ultimate Sub-Zero and Noob Saibot versions (available September 25th).
