Nicole Kidman dazzles in a shimmering black off-the-shoulder dress at the Los Angeles premiere of “The Perfect Couple”

“The Perfect Couple” will be available on Netflix on Thursday, September 5th.

Nicole Kidman’s light is shining brighter ahead of the premiere of her latest project, The perfect couple.

The 57-year-old Oscar winner attended the premiere of the new Netflix limited series in Los Angeles on Thursday, September 5, wearing a long, sparkly, black halter dress that sparkled on the red carpet.

The slightly sheer look, which was Ferragamo’s own design on popular Instagram account checkthetag, was complemented with a chic black blazer.

Kidman let her natural beauty shine through at the event on Wednesday, September 4. She wore her hair down, blush pink and a soft pink lip.

According to a press release, Kidman will star opposite Liev Schreiber in the six-episode series, playing a wealthy couple whose son, Benji Winbury (Billy Howle), is set to marry Amelia Sacks (Eve Hewson).

“Her ill-disposed mother-in-law-to-be, celebrated novelist Greer Garrison Winbury (played by Kidman), has spared no expense planning what promises to be the biggest wedding of the season—until a body is found on the beach,” the synopsis explains.

“As the secrets come to light, the stage is set for a real investigation that seems torn from the pages of one of Greer’s novels. Suddenly, everyone is a suspect,” she adds.

The cast also includes Meghann Fahy, Dakota Fanning, Ishaan Khatter and Jack Reynor.

It’s been a busy couple of days for Kidman, with her upcoming film Girlin which she starred opposite Harris Dickinson, was screened at the Venice Film Festival on Thursday, August 29.

The film star attended the event wearing a Schiaparelli Couture Fall 2024 creation, which featured a fitted waist bodice with sequined fringe and intricate beading, as well as a sexy slit.

“It’s one woman’s story, and I hope it’s a very liberating story,” Kidman said during a press conference for the Halina Reijn-directed project, which hits theaters Wednesday, Dec. 25. “It’s told by a woman through her own lens… and that’s what I think made it so special, that I was suddenly in the hands of a woman with this material.”
