Pip Edwards Announced as Creative Director of Ksubi

PE Nation co-founder Pip Edwards has been announced as creative director of Australian streetwear brand Ksubi, marking Pip’s return to the brand that launched her fashion career in the early 2000s.

Edwards held various roles at Ksubi, from marketing and design to brand strategy. She later moved on to design roles at General Pants and Sass & Bide before eventually launching the sportswear brand PE Nation in 2016.

Meanwhile, Ksubi was founded in Sydney in 1999 and has now expanded globally, with stores in New York, Los Angeles and London, among others. Known for its bold streetwear and denim, Ksubi is a favourite of Kendall Jenner, Travis Scott and Taylor Swift.

“Since its inception, Ksubi has been at the forefront of global cultural zeitgeist, thriving at the intersection of fashion, art and music,” said Pip upon announcing her new role. “Having been part of the original team 20 years ago, I’m thrilled to rejoin the talented Ksubi team and contribute to their already impressive global success.”

Edwards’ appointment also reunites her with Ksubi CEO Craig King, who worked together at General Pants. “Pip and I have always been close, bouncing ideas off each other and bouncing off each other,” King said. “We’re excited to bring Pip’s creativity and boundless energy to our ranks at Ksubi. Bringing in someone with her vision and understanding of the market, coupled with her deep history with the brand, is a huge bonus.”
