On Friday, Zephyrhills will travel to state-ranked Wiregrass Ranch for a game that will feature two of the state’s top experienced recruits: Zephyrhills linebacker DJ Pickett and Wiregrass Ranch linebacker Graceson Littleton.

Zephyrhills (1-1) looks to build on a convincing 29-0 win at Wesley Chapel in Week 2. Wiregrass Ranch (2-0) is ranked No. 6 in Class 6A after defeating Clearwater 21-19 last week.

Pickett is a five-star recruit who committed to LSU in July. Pickett, a 6-foot-4 defensive back, was a two-way star for the Bulldogs. In his three-year college career, he caught 99 passes for 2,035 yards and 28 touchdowns, along with 73 tackles and five interceptions.

Littleton, a four-star recruit and the No. 12 player in the USA Today Florida Network top 100, is committed to Clemson. The 6-foot-1, 180-pounder has an interception and three pass breakups this season.
