Navisun and Ampion collaborate to manage subscriptions for five community solar projects

Navisun and Ampion announced a long-term strategic partnership that will enable commercial, industrial and residential customers throughout the Northeast and Midwest to access solar energy.

Navisun will design, build, own and operate over 21 MWDirect current solar assets in four states, with plans to add additional capacity to this partnership in the near future. Ampion will lead subscriber acquisition, billing, customer service, and long-term subscription management for these five distributed community solar projects. Once completed and enrolled, the projects will serve homes and businesses in Maine, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and Illinois, including economically disadvantaged customers. The first project in Maine is expected to begin operations in November.

Through their ongoing partnership, Ampion and Navisun are committed to addressing the industry’s growing need for high-quality customer relationships that will ensure both the long-term profitability of renewable energy assets and more affordable energy bills for Americans. By combining Navisun’s expertise in solar generation with Ampion’s subscription management services, the two partners aim to expand access to solar energy in markets across the country and build lasting relationships with a range of solar customers that will strengthen the industry’s long-term success.

“As the renewable energy industry continues to evolve, it must also deliver clean energy in a long-term, responsible and sustainable manner,” said Jason Spreyer, CEO of Navisun. “By focusing on the long-term profitability of our assets, Navisun ensures that the projects we build today will continue to deliver sustainable energy for decades to come. We are pleased to announce our partnership with Ampion, whose shared commitment to long-term sustainability benefits not only our projects, but the broader solar industry.”
