Jill Martin and Erik Brooks Divorce After 2 Years of Marriage

Today collaborator Jill Martin AND Eric Brooks are divorcing after two years of marriage.

A spokesperson for Martin confirmed that the former couple filed divorce papers early last month and had “almost completed the process” of finalizing their split. Page Six on Wednesday, September 4.

Eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice last month that Martin, 48, wasn’t wearing her wedding ring on air. Some social media users also noticed that she hadn’t been posting photos of Brooks recently.

Martin, however, has no intention of discussing the breakup publicly. (Us Weekly requested comment.)

“Because there are families involved and the past year has been so transformative for Jill, she plans to make this her only thank you,” her spokesperson said. Page Six on Wednesday. “She is focusing on her health and being a wonderful daughter, friend and new aunt.”

Martin and Brooks met on a dating app and announced their engagement in 2019. They broke up shortly after but eventually reconciled. In November 2021, Martin and Brooks were engaged again. They married in September 2022.

Martin still appears in Today amid her divorce. She was on the third hour of the show on Thursday, September 5 with Vendors in Savannahfilling in Sheinelle Jones AND Dylan Dreyer.

In addition to the ups and downs of her relationship, Martin has also been going through a public health battle. Almost a year after she and Brooks tied the knot, Martin announced her breast cancer diagnosis. At the time, she thanked her husband for supporting her on her health journey.

“I’m doing okay, honestly. I have a loving husband, a wonderful family and friends, and an incredible amount of support,” she wrote to Today.com in July 2023. “I have a clear head and I know exactly what needs to be done. Am I scared? Of course. Who wouldn’t be? But I know that cancer doesn’t affect me. We lost my amazing grandmother to this disease because there was no science to it. But she’s here now, and I’ll know that she’ll be with me through it all.”

After her diagnosis, Martin kept her fans updated with her surgeries and treatments. She also continued to appear on TodayIn March of this year, she gave an interview to the founder of Never Fully Dressed’s “She Made It” Lucy Aylen and revealed that it was her first episode after completing cancer treatments.

“I’m back, honey,” she said then.
