Treasure Coast fashion designer Kallee Jackson is enjoying a bit of the Taylor Swift magic she spotted last year.

“People just come to me and ask me to recreate some of her designs and put my own spin on them. That’s really important to me,” said Jackson, founder of full-service fashion house Maison De Kallee Jackson in Port St. Lucie.

Kelli Kinnaman commissioned Jackson to design a dress for her upcoming birthday.

“She showed me different styles that Taylor wore, and we chose one,” Jackson said of the design process.

WPTV News anchor Ashley Glass was on hand for the grand unveiling as Jackson showed Kinnaman the finished gown.

“I love it. It’s perfect. It’s classic. It’s a reputation. I’m in love with it,” Kinnaman said as she emerged from the fitting room in a colorful, sparkly, one-of-a-kind dress. “I feel strong. I feel beautiful.”

“My favorite album is ‘1989,’ so her red carpet looks in 2014 were so much fun for me. I loved all the colors,” Jackson said of her inspiration. “That’s where the bottom half came from. And the top half was definitely the Reputation tour.”

“She totally lived her dream,” Kinnaman said of working with Jackson.

Jackson expects Swiftie’s positive impact on her now international business to continue.

“I think it’s going to be hot in that sense for a very long time. So I can’t wait to create more and more. So just keep it up, baby,” Jackson said, laughing, enjoying the moment and the best that’s yet to come.
