A Weekend Worth Noting: The Autumn Gallery Night Returns

A Weekend Worth Noting: The Autumn Gallery Night Returns

Have a nice Thursday,

Meteorologically, summer does not end until September 22nd.

But I’ll be personally celebrating fall this weekend. Both because the weather is nicer and because Fall Gallery Night is scheduled for this Saturday, September 7th. This free event is one of my favorite markers of the changing season.

This is a coordinated celebration in Fort Worth and Arlington where galleries open their doors and invite the public to view works of art on this traveling, self-guided tour.

From painters to photographers to glass artists, there are so many talented people in the community. It’s always a treat to see what they’re doing and hear what inspired their work. Light refreshments and the occasional free glass of wine don’t hurt either.

The Fort Worth Art Dealers Association, which coordinates the seasonal event, lists 41 official stops this time around. For a map of participating locations, click here.

If you want a carefully curated list, I suggest checking out the Art Tooth Fall Gallery Night Party Bus. For $50, you can hop on a luxury bus and make new friends as you travel to six different stops throughout the night.

Art Tooth bus tickets are known to be sold out, so get yours while you can.
