Chiefs Hallmark Christmas Movie Premiere and First Photos

Chiefs Kingdom, mark the date on your calendar and turn on the Hallmark Channel.

“Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story,” starring Tyler Hynes and Hunter King, premieres November 30 at 8:00 PM ET as part of the 15th annual Countdown to Christmas series.

The actors made the announcement during “The World’s Largest Tailgate: Tailgate Games” at GEHA Field in Arrowhead on Thursday ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs’ home opener against the Baltimore Ravens.

The film follows Alana Higman (King), “who is certain that her family’s long history as Kansas City Chiefs superfans makes them the favorites to win the team’s ‘Fan of the Year.’” Hynes plays the role of fan engagement director Derrick, “who is tasked with evaluating how Alana and her family stack up against the other two finalists.”

The film also featured Jenna Bush Hager, Donna Kelce, Diedrich Bader, Megyn Price, Richard Riehle, Christine Ebersole, Richard Christie, coach Andy Reid and many notable Kansas City Chiefs players, with many scenes filmed at Arrowhead.

“This holiday season, Hallmark is focused on bringing joy to the world,” said Darren Abbott, Chief Brand Officer, Hallmark, in a statement. “Our new partnership with the NFL and the Chiefs was uniquely designed to do just that — find universal ways to spread joy, tell powerful stories and build excitement for our beloved family brands during this special time of year.”

The stadium will host promotions for the upcoming Hallmark movie throughout the year, including special animations on Hallmark Channel holiday-themed LED screens, giveaways and activations.

Hallmark will put its own spin on the classic “Kiss Cam” with the “Star Cam,” pairing fans in the audience with their own Hallmark holiday movies during home games. There will also be a unique tailgate experience during home games featuring holiday photos and free hot cocoa. Upon entry to the stadium during the Nov. 29 home game, the weekend of the movie’s premiere, fans will receive a one-of-a-kind Chiefs x Hallmark Channel-themed pennant. Additionally, new featured merchandise will be available soon.

“We are incredibly grateful to the entire Hallmark team and the unique hometown partnership that has been built around our two brands and this film,” added Kansas City Chiefs President Mark Donovan. “With the excitement of the football season and the holidays approaching, there is no better way to highlight this partnership and announce the premiere date than through one of Kansas City’s biggest events—Chiefs game day!”
