Atlanta rapper Rich Homie Quan has tragically died at the age of 34. His girlfriend found him unconscious when he went out to pick up his son.

Atlanta rapper Rich Homie Quan, known for his chart-topping hits, was tragically found dead at the age of 34. According to reports, his girlfriend found him “unconscious” when he returned home and immediately called 911 after finding him “foaming at the mouth.” A recording of the phone call between the rapper’s girlfriend and officers has revealed the horrifying details surrounding his death.

Rich Homie Quan’s Cause of Death

As the investigation into Rich Homie Quan’s death continues, TMZ has obtained a copy of a 911 call made by his girlfriend, Amber Williams. The couple reportedly have children, and according to the call, Williams left her home to pick up her son from school before she found Quan’s lifeless body on the couch.

The audio recording, released just hours after the Atlanta rapper’s tragic death, details the harrowing moments leading up to his discovery. Williams explained that she found Quan unconscious on the couch the morning after he went to bed. Believing he was just fast asleep, she covered him with a blanket and went to take her son to school. When she got home, she checked on Quan and was horrified to find that he had no pulse and wasn’t breathing. “I don’t feel a heartbeat. I don’t see him breathing,” she said through tears.

She then described in detail the moment she tried to wake him up, only to find he was foaming at the mouth. “When I turned him over, he was foaming at the mouth,” she said, according to the audio recording.

Rich Homie Quan pronounced dead at the scene

The 911 operator walked Williams through the steps to help Quan breathe, instructing her to lay the rapper flat on his back. Paramedics arrived shortly after. The 34-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office has scheduled an autopsy for the rapper on Friday, according to Page Six.

The cause of death has not yet been revealed. Born Dequantes Devontay Lamar on October 4, 1990, RHQ died unexpectedly on Thursday, September 5. Quan rose to fame in 2013 with his hit single Type of Way and continued to build his fan base with songs like Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh) and Ride Out. He also collaborated with Young Thug on Cash Money Records’ Rich Gang project and frequently collaborated with other Atlanta artists such as 2 Chainz and Jacquees.
