Kate Garraway’s cosy cream cardigan was perfect for her day in the garden

The presenter posted a photo on Instagram on September 1 showing off her gardening skills, and her patterned midi dress and cardigan combo gave us plenty of inspiration for the season. Not everyone wants to garden in their favourite clothes, but that doesn’t mean we can’t recreate Kate’s gorgeous everyday style over the next few months.

On a mild September day, she wore a cream knit cardigan that had a loose lapel collar, roomy side pockets, and a gorgeous ribbed texture. From what we saw of Kate’s outfit, the cardigan seemed to be longer, perhaps hitting just below the waist.

While cropped cardigans are incredibly flattering if you want to show off your waistline while layering, nothing screams “cozy” more than a longer cardigan.
