50 Cent Talks Celibacy and Marriage

“50 Cent, are you celibate?” asked Stephen Colbert.

“Listen, when you calm down, you can focus. Okay?” 50 Cent said, according to People.

“It was good. I was good to myself,” he added, emphasizing his simple but powerful mantra as he lives life on his own terms, free from the entanglements of romantic relationships.

Intrigued by this prospect, Colbert, 60, asked the “In da Club” artist why he continues to accumulate wealth without having someone special to share it with.

50 Cent, however, had a clear answer: “(Money) is when things start getting complicated, things start getting confusing because people come in for different reasons.”

For him, it is not just about possessing wealth, but about avoiding the inevitable complications that arise when love and money are mixed.

The Grammy Award winner expanded on his stance by describing his approach to dating.

“If you go on a date and you’re not interested in anything, I see you now. I said, ‘Gosh, girl, you’re okay, but you’re not interested in anything.'”

He noted that for “most men,” romantic desire often clouds judgment, so he prefers to keep his distance.

50 Cent is a father of two children. In 1996, he welcomed his first child, son Marquise Jackson, with Shaniqua Tompkins. His second son, Sire Jackson, was born in 2012 to his then-partner Daphne Joy.

When Colbert asked the father of two if he had ever been married, 50 Cent was clear and unwavering in his response:

“I’m safe. I’m not a happy hostage. I’m here. I’m free,” he laughed.

“I’ve made some mistakes, but not this one.”

50 Cent focuses his energy on fitness

Now without a sexual partner, 50 Cent is focusing on his fitness routine, revealing that he spends his days in the gym and can “get up to about 100 pounds doing barbells.”

His discipline and commitment extends beyond his musical career, shaping a life that prioritizes personal growth and health.

Colbert, painting a cheerful picture of 50 Cent’s supposed nightlife, joked that the rapper “just goes home, watches ‘Wheel of Fortune’ on TiVo, drinks some warm milk and goes to bed, puts on a nightgown and a shower cap.”

50 Cent, unfazed, jokingly replied, “You’re saying it’s the worst thing ever.”

Despite the slight digs, Colbert admitted that he truly wants 50 Cent to find love, to which the rapper responded with typical confidence.

“I want someone I can love in my life, but not right now. It’s okay,” the “Candy Shop” artist stated.
