Muskkaan Jaferi is Jaaved Jaaferi’s half-sister and here’s why her parents’ marriage broke his heart

Jagdeep Jaferi has married three times in his life and has six children from three wives. His first marriage was to Naseem Begum and the former couple welcomed three children, Hussain Jaffery, Suraiya Jaffery and Shakira Shafi. Jagdeep’s second marriage was to Sughra Begum and the latter gave birth to two sons, Jaaved Jaaferi and Naved Jaaferi. The iconic actor’s third marriage was to Najima and the couple welcomed a baby girl, whom they named Muskkaan.

Well, the reason we haven’t seen Muskkaan Jaferi and Jaaved Jaferi together at events or parties is that they reportedly have some differences. As per many reports, Jaaved was unhappy with his father Jagdeep Jaffrey’s third marriage to Najima. For the uninitiated, Jagdeep once spoke to his family about his son Naved’s marriage and both the families met at the comedian’s house. While Naved refused to get married at that time as he wanted to focus on his career, it was his father Jagdeep who instantly fell in love with the elder sister of the girl his son Naved almost got married to.

Despite being married twice and having five children, Jagdeep Jaffrey was reluctant to get married and even proposed to a girl. To everyone’s surprise, Najima accepted his marriage proposal and they tied the knot. This came as a huge blow to Jagdeep’s son Jaaved Jaaferi who couldn’t believe that his father had married a girl who was 33 years younger to him. Since then, it is said that there has been an invisible rift between the father-son duo, Jagdeep and Jaaved. As a result, we have rarely seen the half-siblings, Jaaved and Muskkaan together. We hope that Muskkaan takes his family’s legacy to even greater heights in the near future.
