Brooks Nader’s Chemistry With ‘Dancing with the Stars’ Co-Star Sparks Romance Rumors

Brooks Nader and Gleb Savchenko, a professional contestant on Dancing with the Stars, are the latest dance duo to be spurred by romance rumors.

Nader, 27, shared a photo of herself sitting on Savchenko’s lap on social media. Both the model and the 41-year-old professional dancer placed their hands on their thighs for the photo.

Savchenko revealed that he thinks Nader is “great” and explained that they have “amazing” chemistry in a statement to Page Six. However, the twosome have not taken things to a romantic level.

Fans will be able to see the chemistry between Nader and Savchenko for themselves when the 33rd season of “Dancing with the Stars” kicks off on Tuesday.

Dancing with the Stars pros dating their partners is not uncommon. The dance show has spawned many relationships and even a few marriages.

The “intensity” of the show and the amount of time the performers spend together during the season, between rehearsals and performances, create ideal conditions for romantic bonds to develop, Rachel Goldberg, a licensed marriage and family therapist, LMFT, PMH-C, in Studio City, California, told Fox News Digital.

“First, both people have a common goal: to win and outdo the other participants,” she explained. “That creates an initial bond and camaraderie. Then they’re close together, constantly touching and in each other’s space, which triggers physical responses that reinforce attraction.”

Goldberg also noted that celebrities and professional dancers find themselves in a “high-pressure, anxiety-filled environment where they bond over shared experiences.”

“It’s just the two of them on the court, and all eyes are on them. The only person who understands what they’re feeling at that moment is their partner, whom they have complete trust in,” she said. “They also share big emotions, whether it’s disappointment over a low score or excitement after a win.

“Finally, they are very attractive people with media-appropriate personalities, which further strengthens their bond. Ultimately, this intense, physically charged experience often leads to romantic relationships. Whether those relationships last, however, is another story.”

Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev

On the 25th season of Dancing with the Stars in 2017, Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev were paired up during the competition. In 2019, they officially dated, and Chigvintsev proposed to Nikki in January 2020.

The couple married in 2022 and have a 4-year-old son, Matteo.

Chigvintsev was arrested on Aug. 29 after authorities received a report of domestic violence. He was arrested at 10:40 a.m. and released at about 2:18 p.m. that same day on $25,000 bail. A court date was set for Nov. 4.

Nikki’s rep told Fox News Digital at the time: “This is a private matter and Nikki requests privacy for herself and her family at this time.”

Nikki filed for divorce on September 11, seeking sole custody of the couple’s 4-year-old son.

Matthew Lawrence and Cheryl Burke

Although Matthew Lawrence never competed on Dancing with the Stars, he technically met professional Cheryl Burke through the show. Matthew’s brother, Joey Lawrence, competed on Season 3 of the dance competition.

In February 2007, Matthew and Burke were dating. The couple split after a year of dating, but rekindled their romance in 2017.

“When we first started dating, we were both young and immature, and I was so new to (Hollywood),” she previously told People magazine. “Now we’re both adults and we feel settled.”

They married in 2019, but Burke filed for divorce in 2022, citing irreconcilable differences.

Derek Hough and Brooke Burke

Although Derek Hough and Brooke Burke never dated, the TV personality admitted that if she were single, she would love to have a “romance” with the dancer.

“If I wasn’t married, I would actually hope that we would have an affair,” Burke explained on Cheryl Burke’s podcast Sex, Lies, and Spray Tans in 2023.

“I don’t think I’ve ever said that,” she continued. “I say that with respect.”

At the time, Burke was in a relationship with David Charvet, and they had two children. She married the French singer in 2011, but the couple divorced in 2020.

“I would have an affair with (Derek),” she continued. “But listen, let me tell you why: You’re entwined with someone’s body when you’re not a dancer. There’s no way I’d ever be as connected — outside of a lover or a husband — as I am with Derek. And every single day… So for three months, you’re in someone’s arms. Alan Bersten and Alexis Ren

Model Alexis Ren and DWTS pro Alan Bersten began a relationship during the 27th season of the show. The beginning of their romance was documented on the show in 2018.

“I’m developing feelings for Alan,” she admitted in a pre-recorded interview. “And I didn’t expect it. But it happened really quickly, so I think I’m still trying to process it.”

However, the two ended their relationship shortly after the season ended, with Ren traveling while Bersten was in Los Angeles preparing for her tour.

Mario Lopez and Karina Smirnoff

“Dancing with the Stars” contestants Karina Smirnoff and Mario Lopez began a romance after performing together on the third season of the dance show.

The couple dated for two years before splitting in 2008. During that time, rumors surfaced that Lopez had been unfaithful in the relationship.

Kym Johnson and Robert Herjavec

“Shark Tank” star Robert Herjavec and professional dancer Kym Johnson met as partners on the 20th season of “Dancing with the Stars” in 2015.

They married in 2016, and in April 2018, they welcomed twins, Hudson and Haven.

Johnson left Dancing with the Stars in 2015 but returned in 2017. However, the professional dancer hung up her dancing shoes after that season.
