Ummaramma Announces New Board Game “Speculaas” by Danijel Pošta – TGN

New board game publisher Ummaramma has announced its first card game, Speculadesigned by Danijel Pošta. The game is a family card and collectible game for 1-5 players, centered around the theme of baking traditional speculaas cookies.

IN SpeculaPlayers compete to create the best batch of cookies by selecting and combining recipe and spice cards. The game features simultaneous card draw, where players select cards and pass the remaining ones to the next player. The goal is to combine spices like cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, and other ingredients with recipes to score the most points.

The game is intended for ages 10 and up and takes about 20 minutes to play. It contains 140 cards, honey tokens, a score pad, rules manuals in English and Croatian, player aids and recipe cards for real speculaas cookies.

Specula is available for purchase in the EU from the Ummaramma online store for €24.99, with a pre-order discount of €19.99. It will also be presented at the Essen SPIEL convention, where visitors will be able to find it in Hall 4, Stand 4C111.
