Car-semi-trailer collision slows traffic on I-74 near Morton

TAZEWELL COUNTY (25News Now) — A passenger car and semi-trailer crashed during rush hour on Interstate 74 near Morton Tuesday.

Illinois State Police said they were called around 5 p.m. after a car and a semi collided in the eastbound lanes at mile marker 101.

Police said one person was taken to a local hospital to receive treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.

According to police reports, traffic was moving in the second lane of Route 74 heading east.
