Celebrate Shohei Ohtani’s 50/50 with this Dodgers merch

Los Angeles Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani made history by becoming the first player to hit 50 home runs and steal 50 bases in a single season.

Ohtani pulled off an incredible feat Thursday afternoon, slamming a 1-2 throw the other way for his 50th home run. He had already stolen a base and hit a home run earlier in the game.

For all the talent that has ever graced the game of baseball, it’s hard to deny that there’s ever been a better player than Ohtani. A Cy Young talent on the field and one of the most productive hitters the diamond has ever seen.

Ohtani stole two bags and scored seven runs in L.A.’s win over Miami. It was his 13th game this season with at least one theft and a home run.

The 30-year-old still has plenty of incredible baseball skills left in Hollywood. So let’s celebrate.
