CREF Announces Fall Career Fair Dates

Collision Repair Education Foundation

The Collision Repair Education Foundation (CREF) has announced the schedule for the fall 2024 High School and College Transportation Student Career Fairs. These events are designed to connect future collision repair professionals with companies that want to hire them.

Job fair schedule:

  • November 4: West-MEC High School (Phoenix, Arizona)
  • December 5: Fort Hayes Career Center (Columbus, Ohio)
  • December 6: Ohio Technical College (Cleveland, Ohio)

In addition to in-person events, CREF offers an electronic student CV database with the contact details of over 600 students, thus facilitating contact between students and employers across the country.

Organizations interested in participating or planning an event can contact Tiffany Bulak, CREF Program Manager, at (email protected). Businesses can also support students by sponsoring work uniforms, with the option to provide branded technical shirts and work pants.

“The automotive repair industry offers a wide range of opportunities and career paths for students who have completed entry-level training and are preparing to launch their careers, and the CREF job fair provides an ideal forum for automotive repair centers, dealerships, and even paint, tool and equipment companies to connect with future transportation professionals,” Bulak said. “Connecting with students who are preparing to enter the field is critical for all segments of the industry as a way to increase brand awareness for the company as well as showcase the diverse career paths available to students.”
