Kate Nash Announces New Tour With Shamir, Revenge Wife & More

After the summer the release of her fifth studio album, 9 sad symphoniesKate Nash is coming to North America for the first time since 2018. On Friday, the singer-songwriter announced that Shamir, Revenge Wife, Joh Chase and Skating Polly will join her on the tour.

“When there’s tension in the world, there’s tension in the room,” Nash said in a statement, referring to the 2024 election season. The press release said the artist hopes to “bring fun, levity, and community to the upcoming tour.” Each night, fans will be invited on stage to sing along between the support acts and “hopefully make some new friends along the way.”

“It’s been 6 years since I’ve toured North America and I can’t wait to reconnect with my fans. I’m so excited to be playing my first US tours as a US citizen,” the English and Irish artist said. “I will definitely be voting in the upcoming election, there are so many important issues to stand up for. I care deeply about women’s sexual health rights, my transgender friends and the community. It’s so important to come together during these difficult times and have a safe place to listen to music and vent. I hope my shows can be a place of liberation and joy amidst the chaos.”
