Kebaso followed President William Ruto everywhere, presenting some projects that never took off soon after their launch.

He also denounced projects that have stagnated despite contractors being paid.

His mission resonated with Kenyans, who willingly sent him money to help with transport logistics and even to buy a new vehicle for a sound system.

In a video on social media, Kebaso, who imitates Ruto’s dressing style, is seen in a smart blue Kaunda suit.

Next to him was his wife, dressed in a pink suit.

Kebaso’s soft-spoken wife then stressed the importance of prayer and the need for Kenyans to strive for better governance.

He said he could not continue to tarnish his name because Kenyans had already chosen the country they wanted.

He offered to refund the money to Kenyans who supported him, urging them not to fabricate M-Pesa messages.
