Angelina Jolie and her daughter Vivienne have a permanent marker commemorating their time working together.

The 49-year-old actress shared in a new interviewCR Fashion Book that she and her 16-year-old daughter Vivienne got matching tattoos during their special time working on the Broadway musical Stranger.

“During our stay with my daughter Viv I received the “Stay Gold” award Stranger,” Jolie revealed. The phrase refers to the title of one of the original songs used in the play, which Jolie co-produced with Vivienne’s help.

“It means so much to all of us, and all of us, and all of us,” she added, referring to the tattoo she first got in April during the play’s Broadway premiere.

The tattoo is located on the actress’ wrist among other tattoos, although she did not indicate where Vivienne’s version of “Stay Gold” is located.

Jolie made a stunning impression at her first photoshoot and interview for CR Fashion BookIn the October issue of the magazine, she touched on motherhood and her career, and also drew attention to her fashion brand, Atelier Jolie.

Her comments about sharing a tattoo with her daughter Vivienne came after she took on the role of one of the main producers on Stranger after the teenager was encouraged to do so by theater buff Vivienne after seeing the play, a musical adaptation of the S.E. Hinton novel, at the La Jolla Playhouse in San Diego in 2023.

In the meantime, Jolie also spoke with CR Fashion Book about another tattoo that they have together with their children.

“There’s also Bird, which I share with some of my children and which is something personal for us,” she said.

While the actress did not specify which of her six children she shares the bird tattoo with, she is mother to Maddox, 23, and Pax, 20, daughters Zahara, 19, and Shiloh, 18, as well as Vivienne and twin brother Knox, fathered by her ex-husband Brad Pitt.

Jolie also spoke about the lessons her children have taught her, saying, “There are too many to count or name just one. But the moment you become a parent, you are no longer the first. Your life is for someone else. It’s a beautiful feeling.”

Elsewhere in the interview, the actress and activist talked about how she came up with the idea to establish the fashion brand Atelier Jolie, which will premiere in May 2023.

“My intention was to create a space – a home, really – where people can create and be inspired,” she said. CR Fashion Book“The house is created by artists and designers from around the world, and its essence is an invitation to re-engage with design and building community.”

Jolie explained that the collective is focused on “honoring individuality and celebrating the spirit of personal expression.”

“I have always loved creating and designing, collaborating with the brilliant tailors, costume designers and model makers I have had the privilege of meeting throughout my career,” she added.

“I wanted to create a collective with artists and designers who inspire me and create in a way that challenges overconsumption… There is only one rule for our resident guests: they cannot create just for themselves. They must contribute to the community, trade, teach or entertain.”
